Tonight at Public Works: Chromatic Exhibition

This show opening at Public Works tonight promises to be pretty cool. From the website:

Do YOU dream in COLOR?

Are you blue? Green with envy? Or better yet, is your love like a red, red rose? Why is it that color inspires and evokes such powerful emotion in the human mind? Come and see for yourself at Roll-Up Gallery’s Chromatic Exhibition. A bold, richly hued group show featuring the kaleidoscopic works of six exceedingly talented local artists.

Crazy Talented SF Muralist Zio Zeigler Launches Web Store!

After dangling the carrot on his Instagram and Tumblr feed for about 3 weeks, Zio Ziegler has finally launched his webstore, Arte Sempre. You might recognize his work from the side of the Sycamore, or from this new collaboration with Ian Ross, up on Church & Duboce. The new webstore features mostly tshirts and a hat or two - here are some designs we plan on swooping:

Get 'em while they're hot!

Beautiful New Zio Ziegler Mural Graces The Sycamore

Zio Ziegler, the muralist who recently painted a mural of a tiger mauling the hell out of people walking through doorways on 24th, is back in action.  This time, covering up the weird donut mural that replaced the Banksy piece.  And it's quite a looker too.  Just look at the skulls and birds he's left behind:

Feisty Cat Mural to Maul Every Pathetic Human Walking Out of Their Apartment

Okay okay okay, maybe this new work by Zio Ziegler isn't going to spring to life and ruin every man, woman, and child walking through that door with his giant paw and gnarly tongue, but we can always hope.

(And be sure to roll over to 24th and Bartlett and check it out for yourself.  The detail on this beast is nothing short of incredible.)
