That didn't take long. The City's only Planned Parenthood at Valencia and Mission has been open for less than two months and it's already seeing protestors outside holding signs and praying at passersby, which means my walk to Bernal's Safeway just became a whole lot more interesting. Brady Lea, who recorded some video on the 5-person protest, noted:
I asked if they knew what Planned Parenthood did, and they prayed at me. I asked if they knew about the exams, testing and women's healthcare they provided as well as all sorts of family planning education and they prayed some more. Then it started raining harder and I guess they left.

I’ll go ahead and say it: these dudes should not be aloud to protest in front of planned parenthood, given the number of attacks on clinics that provide abortion services, and assassinations and assassination attempts of doctors who also provide these services. Read the study, and then tell me its ok that 20% of abortion clinics get vandalized (and that’s only reported…)
The number that get picketed is almost 90%. Think going to do something extremely personal, like seeing a shrink, and then imagine 100 douchebags protesting outside of the office every time you go, maybe even going as far as throwing things at you and glueing the door shut ever fifth time you go. That’s what this is.
