The driver of the crashed vehicle, who was at the scene on Mission and Chavez, tells us, “Cesar Chavez is literally a swirling, sucking eddy of despair that is actively siphoning my will to live. It's dangerous—so fucking dangerous. It's unclear where the lanes start and stop, there's debris ev-ery-where, it's impossible to cross the street at Folsom, and it all around sssuuucccckkkkkksssssss.”
Okay, he didn't actually say that. But seriously, have you driven on Cesear Chavez lately?

Wonder what really happened, we end up on CC about once a month for deliverys and it’s in pretty bad shape. Hope everyone was O.K.
Chaos, with white lines indicating nothing, three lanes (or is it two?) going into one (or not?), heavy machinery occasionally stopping everything, and lights at intersections that aren’t even “inter” anymore. Hope I can cross at Bryant today. Without bodily injury.
Yes, it’s under construction. Yes, you have to pay a bit closer attention. But it’s really not that bad.
