I guess Groupon didn’t get the memo that Mission Minis was shut the fuck down because in my inbox this morning was a deal for 60% off two dozen cupcakes. OOPS! Of course, I still tried to get said deal because FOOD YES but no dice.

Unfortunately Mission Minis had to close temporarily due to improper permits, so we had to cancel this deal and replace it with what would have been today’s side deal.

Yeah, poor planning on his part. Mission Minis isn’t too bad, but I have to say, I recently tried some of the Heartbaker (www.theheartbaker.com) cupcakes at an event at Mezzanine recently, and they were amazing.
DOH. I got that email too. Was ready to hit ‘em up. Thx for the FDA intel.

The timing was a bit bizarre, but I assumed that Groupon knew about the closure and that Mission Minis was still planning on drumming up future business with the offer. FAIL.
Supposedly Groupon messed this one up… They didn’t put the correct date and also had the wrong address. While the bakery isn’t open, Mission minis is still taking orders & baking out of a different kitchen. So simmer down, cupcakes will prevail!
