Fitting In with the Locals or Patronizing Weirdo?

Local comedian Chris Thayer happened to drive past this dude outside the 24th St. BART station the other day and had this to say:

There's a fine line between trying to fit in with the locals and being a patronizing weirdo. If you find yourself dressed like a member of The Sonics, wearing a sombrero, and drinking a 16 oz. Budweiser (NO BAG) at 2PM on a Thursday, you've probably crossed it.

Seriously; dude could have at least shown enough respect to drink a Tecate.

(Thanks, Chris!)

Umm… did you notice this guy is also lurking in the beer bong bros in the above story? That dude was at my at my show two weeks ago from start to finish (until the free beer was gone) and was coughing up some nasty phlegm globs. I also saw the other day brown-bagging it at 11am outside of Rhea’s. I suspect dude might have some mental health issues.

I see him walking to and from Dolores all the time. Always brown-bagging. And ALWAYS wearing the same Jacket. I don’t think he changes…

Good call on spotting him in the beer bong photo, dude obviously gets around.

If liking free beer is a symptom on mental illness then the mission is Arkam Asylum
