Remember the epic 20 police car standoff Brizz reported about the other day? Turns out it was a false alarm.
Just before the Yukon approached Market and Gough streets, a group of police cars stopped the sport utility vehicle. With assault rifles and pistols drawn, a tense standoff ensued.
One occupant was wearing a Muni uniform and the other a Public Works reflective vest, according to Tomioka. They told police they were driving across town to pick up someone.
