Plastic sheeting blew off the roof of the (as-of-yet unopened) Gus’s Community Market this morning, downing a power line on Alabama Street between 16th and 17th and knocking out power to over 2,200 PG&E customers in the process. According to a PG&E worker at the scene, power will remain off in the affected area for three to four hours.

Way to make an entrance, Gus!

It was restored about 30 minutes ago. The flowing sheets of plastic were destructive, but also very beautiful as they billowed in the wind.

Not sure how any of this has to do with Gus since they are only on the first floor and have nothing to do with the roof of that building. Why don’t you blame the tech startup on the 2nd floor?? Or whoever is in the “add-on” which was recently built on top of a portion of that roof.

Does this news source make money or do you work for free? Is there anything else to report on?
