The PYROflipper App Gets An Update

It seems the group behind the PYROflipper App flyers, which began popping up around the Mission some time last year, has updated their message. Version 2.0 shifts the blame for San Francisco’s housing troubles from landlords to the (presumably wealthy) residents working in the tech sector, demanding that “tech visionarie$$$” give up their homes “or else.”

And although the above flyer definitely comes across as unhinged, it does include a tiny Batman dancing on a crane. So there’s that.

*wipes brow*…..phew….

I saw the police carefully taking down a couple of posters.  They told me they were going to be investigating (fingerprints) as a felony threat.

Troll.,

That  would certainly violate the Bill of Rights and First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America that secures the liberties of all Americans and sets and example around the world.

It would be enforcing the laws differently because of the content of the political based message.

Or are the police like that??   We think not.

What, only the Left can make threats?

Nimrod, it’s illegal to make threats.  The first amendment doesn’t protect you from being…well..a nimrod  ;-)

“Or else ” …  is NOT a threat.       Someone explained that with the “hold my breath” comment.

But, maybe guilt abound,  throwing people out of their home can be violence.

Prepare for the police to carefully investigate!

“Or else!”

Or else I’m going to hold my breath until I turn blue.

Or else I’m going to kick and scream and yank my hair.

Or else I’m going to rend my clothes and pour PBR on my head.

There is no threat to harm anyone or their property contained in the poster’s wording. It doesn’t even imply a physical threat to people or property.

Jesus. If you’re going to inflict posters like that onto the public, at least take a graphic design foundation course or, better still, pay a professional designer a few bucks.

With Jesus on your side, you win.

It is a charming fact that in a tiny neighborhood, in a tiny city, one person (in this case the only self-loathing gay in all of SF) can basically front his or herself as a “group.”  Get like 10 people together on anything in this town and you have yourself a mob and a Phil Matier segment.

I agree with you 100%

I’m so tired of Scott Wiener’s BS.
