Lights On At La Rondalla
La Rondalla has been saying they're going to reopen "any day now" for the past million years, so I don't know if this is a sign that they're actually going to open. But electricity is flowing! Perhaps pitcher-sized shitshows aren't far behind?

This place closed before I moved to the Mission, but the Yelp reviews sound hilarious. Hope they re-open also.
I had been going to La Rondalla since 1976, even before the extra room in the back was added....I still fondly remember going in about 2 or 3 a.m., and ordering the most fantastic carne asada and guacamole in the universe!! And my surprise 30th birthday party by my family was there....needless to say, I'm 30+ years older now....Sigh.....Loved sitting at the counter, watching the chefs cook up such great food. I can't wait until they reopen and will be a frequent visitor once again.
