It seems there has been an unfortunate uptick of daylight shootings in the Mission in recent weeks, first with the shooting on 24th and Harrison, and now with a shooting across the street from Philz on 24th and Folsom. According to Mission Local, the gang task force has been called in to investigate, but good news, the victim was able to get himself to the hospital without assistance:

The victim got into an argument with two or three men in their early 20s, one of whom shot him in the buttocks, said police. The victim arrived at SF General Hospital on his own accord with non-life-threatening injuries.

Glad to hear he's going to be alright, but I imagine all that money he saved on an ambulance will be spent on re-upholstering his car.
