This show will be 1000 times better than 99.9% of the crappy music you promote on this website. Serg is the only one with decent musical tastes on here.
I recommend you leave the musical commentary to those who know what they are talking about (the fact you have never heard of Cocksparrer speaks volumes) and keep your focus on mission politics and the Dolores Park renovation (which I appreciate).
As per Alissa’s request I scrolled back up and my concluded comment was based on the fact that 1) Kevin said “a band called Cocksparrer” (as if implying he had never heard of them. Would you assume someone saying “there’s this band called U2” was intimately familiar with their work?) and then subsequently commented he had to use Wikipedia to learn about them. From that I alluded (possibly incorrectly) that he had not heard of the band. And yes, saying the fact Rancid is still a band assumes him is musical commentary, implying they should no longer continue being a band.
Again, I like UA, but thought (again potentially incorrectly) that this was a knock on a show I am very much looking forward to. They’re called comments, how about you calm the hell down.
