Three Alarm Fire Takes Out Two Buildings on Capp at 20th

Categorized: Mission District

There's currently a three alarm fire burning at the corner of 20th and Capp.  Unfortunately, two buildings were burned out, but it appears David Ireland's house at 500 Capp Street is going to be alright.

Alternate view.

David Campos showed up to oversee the situation.

And the vultures showed up to sell food to the onlookers.

Vultures?!? I'll bet they've been in this neighborhood longer than you've been here, and they can call for your deep, hard, and fast eviction.

Christ dude, you're still trolling this blog?

Umm, I've been here longer than you have. So GTFO.

Nicely done, trolling my gravatar picture like that.

Out of curiosity, what exactly is the measurement of time one must be a resident in order to hold dominion over a neighborhood? A decade? A generation? 100 years?

What's a deep eviction?

Kevmo was the only person to note that the house next door is David Ireland's place -- it would have been really awful if it had been damaged. Its been a struggle to just keep it intact.

My thought exactly. I lived on SVN at 20th for 10 years, and David Ireland's house is amazing. Hope it survived unscathed.
