I've seen a few mattresses with a friendly warning dumped on the sidewalk over the past month (the one above is from Potrero Ave.) and media outlets from Tenderblog to CNN claim the city is infested. Have bedbugs finally made their way from the TL to the Mission? Also, we to take a cue from NYC and get more creative with our mattresses with benefits?

Bed bugs are a big fear of mine. How the hell do you stop them from getting into your apartment? Spraying pesticide??
There was a huge pile of mattresses dumped outside of my place yesterday. I steered clear, thinking “bedbugs or scabies” but then later that night a bunch of your drunk friends (I think of everyone drunk in the mission as a close personal friend of yours) came by and were hootin and hollerin while doing running leaps into the pile. They started posing while they jumped and taking pictures for their blogs and stuff. Later they came back with skateboards to do it some more but my angry French landlord started losing his mind out the window at them so they beat it.
