Humorless Business Nubs at Humphry Slocombe Still Blocking People For Following Jasper Slobrushe on Twitter

Really?  Think they would have moved on?

I guess they don’t want people’s business.  Not that I thought their ice cream was very good in the first place.  Weird for the sake of being weird, not for the sake of being good.  WHAT?!

Well I just debunked the debunking

I’ll reiterate what other’s have said: why would a company block anyone from reading their advertising?

I liked HS when they first opened, they seemed nice and friendly. As they got more attention (e.g. 299,041 twitter followers), it went to their head and they started being sometimes condescending to customers. I used to go several times a week, but I haven’t been there in forever. Sometimes I walk by just to see if they have one of the flavors I like (malted dulce de leche - oops, now they know who I am) but alas they never have it.

Alas, all those twitter followers still doesn’t get them the business that Mitchell’s gets, or Bi Rite Creamery for that matter. I hope they find their way though, and lost the attitude, it’s nice to have a fun ice cream shop on lower 24th.

Look, all we’re trying to do is combine our two passions: making delicious ice cream in unconventional flavors and being rude to strangers. Any sort of “beef” with another ice cream shop is purely hogwash (which, coincidentally, is available now at Jasper Slobrushe!)
