 March 16th: I doubt that there are many cities in the world were pink bike riders surround you throughout lunch time and just do this because they have fun. Taken in front of the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Yes, San Francisco - where else?

So after seeing this guy for years in the pink getup I actually saw him at lunch the other day riding in what looked like a circa 1999 silicon valley uniform (khakis, white button up, brown shoes...). I was thoroughly confused, but that never-ending smile and, well, the unicycle told me it was in fact him. Wow, times they are a changin'.

He's actually got a wikipedia entry - he is known as Pink Man. Lived here all my life and I've never seen him. Go figure.
