Lightning struck in and around the Mission a few times last night, with the commensurate cracks of thunder ensuring we all slept terribly. But it seems someone has turned the recent storms into an opportunity to paint some personified strikes along Mission Street.

I didn’t lose any sleep about that one, but I guess I’m counted as one of the NIMBY’s. Reaching out to Uptown Almanacs readers, Can you join me in asking the City to take action about all the @sidecar stickers around the city? Their tags have been spotted in North Beach, the Tenderloin, the Marina, the Financial District and, of Course, the Mission.
The @SFDAOffice can and should handle this one. Its no question who is putting up the tags. No question there are 1000’s of them. Easy case for the city to win, and no excuse for those ugly tags. They bring actions against other taggers that try to be artistic, and ought to do something about those just being selfish.
