Philz: Stepping Up the Bathroom Graffiti

Philz is my favorite spot to nurse off the tit of free wifi in the Mission because I don’t drink coffee and their tea is off the charts.  The only drawback is that there was nothing particularly interesting to look at in the bathroom as you unkink the hose/collapse on the floor in a nervous fit because you’re worried that the hella cute Jewish girl is going to jack your laptop while you’re busy taking pictures in the bathroom with your shit cellphone (true story/I’m an obsessive liar).  Anyways, the Philz bathroom has really been taken up a notch since I last visited in November.  Of course, someone half-heartedly tore down the “Boycott Israeli Apartheid” sticker, but it’s still generally a solid scene now:

So how about you… Yes you…. change that and create something new for the next person to walk into this space rather than constantly taking or demanding that these other individuals create for you and your pseudo ecotopia you have created to dwell in. Since the dawn of the coffee table Graffiti Bible, all you cattle think you know what it is, what it means, how it is, how it lives…. You know what you know squat about it. Judge ridicule love hate despise loath lust…. I don’t care what you think of what i have written now or on any of the surfaces i have defaced over the last 20 years of my small existence .. i am not trying to better you I am asking you to address your demand and expectation of what is I am asking you to add your thing how ever small how ever great and let the world judge or not… Maybe one day i will read you silently without notice and without acknowledgment i will move forth into the world to live another day….
